This was a traumatic luxation following a fall from the back of a vehicle. This condition is severely debilitating and may require surgery.

New technologies provide canine patients and dog owners with alternative solutions. It is now possible to have an orthotic custom built to support the stifle during rehabilitation or in some cases as an alternative to surgery.
