We provide an after hours emergency service.
Phone the clinic on 08 9797 1584 and you will get the after hours number for the veterinarian on duty.
We appreciate appointments. Appointments help us to run on time, and ensure that everybody’s pet gets the very best of care. Often, we can see you same day you call. Our current opening hours are: Weekdays: 8am – 6pm. Weekends: 8am – 12pm
Like most other service providers, payment is due at the time of service. We make every effort to keep our fees fair and reasonable. You are welcome to ask for a quotation, however for some types of surgery this may be an indication of cost only. Some treatments may require a down payment. If you are concerned about your bill, please speak to the vet before treatment commences. We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard.
Dear Valued Client,
Our services are expensive for us to provide to you.
This is because Australind Vet uses the best available equipment and consumables. In surgery, we provide superior medications, to ensure that your pet recovers more quickly, with less anaesthetic risk.
Basically, we provide the kind of service we would want for our own animals.
Treating your animal costs us money. The medications, consumables and equipment we buy are expensive for us to buy.
When we treat your animal, we must pay our suppliers immediately. Staff, and the ATO, also expect prompt, timely payment.
Therefore, you must pay your bill when you incur it.
Those who commission work, only to refuse to pay when receiving their animal, will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
We recommend pet insurance as a sensible way of reducing the sudden costs of emergency treatment.
Occasionally, cases require specialist treatment. For these involved cases we will refer you to the Murdoch University.
